The U.S. Olympic team visited Washington, DC for their traditional White House visit and other events April 21-23, 2002. I was lucky enough to gain press access to several of these events through my work, although I am not a reporter and doubt I'll ever have another opportunity like this one again. It was more than a dream come true for me, since in my wildest dreams, I could never have imagined this chance would come my way.
